Well, I for one think that is all bullshit.

Several times in your life, you might have seen a person walking on a tightrope in a circus. You might also have noticed that the rope is suspended a few feet above the floor that is covered by straw. He aims to walk from one end of the line to the other end. To maintain his balance, he will have a long bar in his hands.
Even, in some instances, these walkers will have a chair with a girl sitting on the chair which they carry on their shoulders when they walk on the rope. The woman sitting on the chair even balances a rod on her forehead. Have you ever wondered how they could maintain the balance right from the beginning to the end of the rope without any disturbance?
They start their work only when the walker ensures that all the items that he will have to carry along with him on the rope are rightly aligned. Life is very much similar to walking on a line. Yes, we are always just a step away from a fall and hit rock bottom. That is not a negative statement to demotivate you.
However, That should motivate you as you are not living in your comfort zone. Let me tell you one thing, each one of us is continuously trying to move forward with a purpose in our life like the purpose of the rope walker to reach the other end of the rope. Only when the elements in our life are rightly balanced, we can succeed in each of our life goals. Here are some tips to help you get the balance you need in your life:

1. Don't split work from your personal life; indulge in every moment.

It would be best if you didn't try to split work from life as when you were younger, you didn't try to separate school from life. You just lived and indulged in the moments and put first things first. Hangout with great people that wanted to do what you wanted to do and you had fun then hold and behold you become a young adult, and you needed to adapt to your new lifestyle as everything was changing.

2. Put first things first.

If you find your #9to5 job so hectic that you need to split it and balance it from your personal life, then it would be best for you to move on to finding a job that teaches you, bring value into your life and help set you toward your career goals.

3.Better Time Management.

The reason why I say this is all bullshit is that the world has changed. It may have worked in the past, but now there are a lot more distractions from you checking Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, Pinterest, Twitter, and others. Something is always trying to get our attention.
I realize this when I couldn't get anything done, and I felt like my attention was getting pulled everywhere. I even log out of all my social media accounts, but still, I felt the burden and could not keep my focus on one objective to complete.
So I decided to use the Pomodoro Technique to manage my time to put simply it's this:
  • Decide on the task to be done.
  • Set a timer to 25 mins
  • Work on the task until the timer rings.
  • Take a short 5 mins break
  • Repeat four time
  • Take a 15-30 mins break.
That made it even worse. So I decide to go into hiatus to indulge in my thoughts as to how I could accomplish what I need to do to help make ThisIndulge the company I wanted it to become, and how could I help others if I couldn't help myself.
Soon after, I stumble on this piece about Jeff Bezos where he says he only make three decisions a day and that's enough. So I sequentially tried that I wouldn't say it failed, but it wasn't for me. As sometimes my day job starts from 5 AM and doesn't end until 10 PM. Yeah, I know right!

4.Manage your mind to balance your life.

So what I decided to do is to do things weekly and to start my week on Sundays instead of Mondays. Now I plan ahead of time what I want to accomplish weekly and go about my week as if it's just a long day and I give my attention where it's needed.
Moreover, I achieve what I need to get done when I have time, and nothing is calling for my attention. I even had time to write my novel.
