So here are the eight great habits I am working to develop:

  1. Being Physically and Mentally Fit

8 Great Habits You Should Develop

I have eight great habits I am working to develop; after auditing myself and thinking about who I want to become in the future. I have decided on eight habits that will keep me learning and creating or improving the world for the better. That will either be by solving societal problems or finding a way to make a system in the world more efficient.

1. Being Physically and Mentally Fit

Treating my body as a temple while still indulging in the world. I want to learn about calisthenics and aerobic and start training my body. Improving my stamina, endurance, and upper/lower body strength is one of my goals.

As in the near future, I want to learn Muay Thai, and I want my body to be able to sustain so I can give 110% during the training. Since I was five years old, this became a goal of mine after I watched The Protector. (Yes, this movie had such an impact on me I still remember it) Here’s my favorite scene:

2. Being A Lifelong Learner

I love learning new things and coming up with brand new ideas on how to solve problems or improve a solution in the world. As of right now, I am trying to build up the habit of being a lifelong learner, and I am sharing my progress with you through these articles.

All of these articles that I write is what I have learned, and I simplified the information for others to also learn along. I am not a writer, I don’t like writing, but for some reason, I love doing this as I get to learn something new and share it with others. My cue is in the morning and after work and knowing someone will benefit from this is my reward.

3. Getting Enough Sleep

It is crucial to get enough rest to let your body revamped itself, even though I sometimes say I'll sleep when I'm dead. Getting enough rest will help me for sure to be a better learner and coming up with new ideas.

I do find myself being most productive in the late of the night sometimes. Your productivity level will be boosted by going to sleep early and getting enough rest. And It will give you a head start on the day as you have fewer distractions by waking up earlier. That will probably be my hardest habit to adopt. But I have been using F.lux, which has helped me go to sleep earlier as it starts to make my body later by lowering the level of blue light on my eyes.

4. Making Myself Happy

As I wake up every day, I realize life is all about the pursuit of happiness no not the movie with Will Smith or the song by Kid Cudi, but more with the advent pursuit of happiness and experiencing more of life and the world around me. Also using the power of habits to be more productive and get more done to set me up for success with ThisIndulge.

Which is why I had created the NoHalt App. Which we are going to make an update on soon in the future as it is not going as planned as of right now. I am looking to make it easier for users to discover and explore more of the world around them. Go and download the app now it’s available on Android and iOS. Use it and let us know how you feel about it so you can help us help more people live a little more.

5. Paying Myself First

Your job, career, or whatever you do make sure the government gets paid first before you so make it your primary mission when you get your paycheck to pay yourself first like me. I always try to pay myself first. I have an automatic investment setup with fundrise, and every time I get paid, $100 goes to my account biweekly.

So what is Fundrise? Fundrise is the first simple, low-cost real estate investment platform. Unlock a new world of real estate investing. You can invest your money, according to your goals, in a portfolio filled with dozens of real estate projects — each one carefully handpicked and proactively developed with the goal of growing your net worth.

Visit Fundrise.ThisIndulge.com to create an account to invest with zero advisory fees. (I have been investing with fundrise for over two years now and I have earned way more on my fundrise investments than any of my other investments)

I also use mint to track my spending to make sure I don’t spend money frivolously, and I can see where every cent is going. Mint is a free online money management that helps you take charge of your finances. Their free budget tracker enables you to understand your spending for a brighter financial future. Feel Free to check it out here (This is NOT a sponsorship just an application I love using)

6. Taking Ownership

Holding myself accountable as far as posting twice a week on ThisIndulge, learn from my downfalls, taking responsibility for my actions. Yes I know I said twice a week, I can’t keep posting three times a week, but they will be a point in time where I will. As most of these articles are just about how I overcome my daily struggles and more so I want to keep creating quality content that will help you too in your situation.

Quality over quantity, I don’t want to start posting rubbish so bear with me as I post only twice a week. That will also give me time to think and improve the content and the company. Feel free to share your story about your struggles in life with our audience at write@thisindulge.com

7. Working Smarter

I believe I can do that by developing these three hobbies, one that makes me money that's not tied down to time but to result and amount of value I bring to another human. One that keeps me physically and mentally fit. One that keeps me creative and helps me come up with great original indulging ideas. Which I can say I am already achieving most of that with ThisIndulge.

8. Being A Happy Extroverts

I want to become more of a happy extrovert so that I can be more outgoing, friendly, warm, and authentic. That is an excellent habit for me to develop as I want to network with more people daily and plan extravagant parties.

That will also help me become a better leader to build a better team with a great work ethic to help make ThisIndulge into a success. If you're in the anti-social side like me, that's fine, that means we will have to work twice as hard, and this will give you an edge in your career, job or summer internship.
